error code: 80070005 access

Hi, I'm trying to install SP2 on my XP Pro machine,
and when it gets about half way through installing it, it
stops and says access denied! When I review installation
history on windows update page it gives me error code:
80070005. I've tried several times with same results. Any
help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,
