Getting this error code after sync. Here's what it logs:

8:49:15 Microsoft Exchange offline address book
8:49:15 0X8004010F

Removing the ost's, recreating the profile, nothing seems
to get rid of the error. Any suggestions?

I am getting the same thing. I thought I had everything configured properly
so the clients would download the Global Address List, but apparently not.

I am also having a similar issue with using the personal calendar offline.
Anytime I create an appointment and click save, I get

"The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook
must be online or connected to complete the action."

My Exchange server is not set up as a domain controller. Our global catalog
server has no publicly-accessible (internet-facing) ports open. Should I
change either of these settings?

I am getting the same thing. I want our laptops to be able to pull the Global
Address List down so they can use it offline. I am also having a similar
error when trying to create appointments in the calendar feature of Outlook.
When I am offline and want to save, I get the following message"

The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must
be online or connected to complete the action.

I have the Exchange 2003 server as a member server, not a domain controller.
The domain controller & global catalog server are not internet accessible (no
ports exposed). Should I change these settings?
