Error Code 0x80004002

I am getting this error message "Thre Program can't check for definition
updates" Error found: code 0x80004002
Any help to fix this error, will be appreciated. Thanks

I am receiving this error also, after upgrading from Defender Beta 2.

It's been resolved in the past by going to Windows Update and performing an
Express Scan repeatedly until no more updates are offered. There are many
pre-requisite high priority updates required for WD to update it's
definitions correctly.
