I have a laptop upgraded from Win98 to Win2K with NTFS
file system. I'm logged in locally as administrator and
I'm part of the administrators group. When I run the
error-checking tool on the C drive (I have cross-linked
files that need to be fixed), I get an error
message "cannot gain exclusive rights, try again at
reboot?", but whatever I do, I still get this message.
Any suggestions?
