Hey, I have a computer that will not go past the logon screen. When I boots
up it comes up just fine and goes to the welcome screen. I choose my user
account and it starts to log on but just hangs there. I have been getting
several errors like the following:

"User init.exe failed to initiate properly"
"Parsel error Value Creation Failed at line 276"
and the most recent "Error code: 0x800405aa"

I was able to go through a few errors and get the desktop, but now it will
not even get past the log on screen.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Log on as the Administrator and create a new user. Log on as this new
user. If this works, log off and log on as the Administrator again. In
the Control Panel > System > Advanced > User profiles > Settings you
can now copy the old user profile to the new user.
