Error C2065 'memset' : undeclared identifier

Hi all,

During the build of a MFC application on a Windows XP
system I get the error C2065 'memset' : undeclared
identifier. When building this same application on
Windows 2000 platform no errors occur. My question is:

Can somebody give me some information related to this
error.
