There are some codes that immediately follow the STOP error that may be
helpful in determining the problem and what to do. The page below may help
you.

What has changed recently on your system? Have you updated any drivers or
installed any software?

Some days after I bought a new PC I also had this bad_pool_caller error.
Now it has gone after deleting the old printer driver and installing a
more recent version and after I opened the PC and pushed the different
connectors and cards that where inserted in my PC. The problem has gone
since more than a week now. I hope it has gone for always.
I looked at many places on the internet and learned that some possible
reasons are:
- a driver conflict especially when using USB-ports
- a bad part in the memory
- bad connections inside the PC (cables and cards)
- an old BIOS
But I learned also that the cause very often is difficult to be determined!

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties. Hardware,
Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?

Try Start, Run, type "sigverif.exe" without quotes and hit OK. What
drivers are listed as unsigned? Disregard those which are not checked.

Hope this helps.

I am interested in these responses. I have been having intermittent Blue
screens and have recorded the rrors from Event Viewer. I cant't really
understand what they are telling me. Reference this last item about Device
Manager, I checked this but no indication of errors. I then ran sigverif.exe
and had the following results. Found 3281 signed 2254 unsigned 1 not scanned
1026. What is the significance of this?
