error after installing a game

I have just installed Dawn Of War, when i tried to start the game i get a
message
saying, Spooge driver not found verify that directX is properly installed.
DirectX is installed. I have windows XP home, I'm not very good with
computers so any help would be much apprieciated. I have a laptop would that
be anything to do with it not working, i just dont know.

Hi Mandy,

Unfortunately, it sounds like you don't have a supported video
card for that game. You'll find the list of supported cards in the
readme.txt file for that game (look in the game's directory).

Then Click Start / Run / type: dxdiag
You'll find your DirectX version on the first tab
Click the Display Tab
Look under Device for the name and manufacturer
