error accessing file network connection may have been lost

When I import objects(reports or forms) from one db to
another I get this error when I try to compile. Does
anyone know how i can fix this. thank you for your help,

This is a serious bug in Access 2000 as released. It was fixed
(supposedly) in Service Release 3. See

If your database displays this error it's probably irretrievably
corrupted; you'll need to restore from a backup. GET the service pack!
