When I click a link (as an example on MSN home page) I get
a popup search window with the URL of
http://error.99fh.com/error.html. If I click on a link in
this popup it is http://www.searchmeup.com/search.php?
aid=11&8=(the link on hte popup). How do I get rid of the
http://error.99fh.com/error.html popup? I have run Spybot
and Ad-aware6 with the most recent updates. I have done a
virus system scan. There must be a resident file of some
sort on my computer which is executing this. Anyone else
had this popup? This is most annoying to say the least.

Thanks in Advance

"searchmeup" is = http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html#svcinit
Download and run "CWShredder"
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip
Close all open Windows and running programs, unzip the tool and run the executable,
follow the prompts.

I have exactly the same pop up. I have run Spybot, Regmechanic,
Anti-Virus (VirusScan) and fully patched Win XP Pro with Messenger
service diabled.

Can anyone help please? It seems to be triggered by half an hour's use
of ebay more than any other site.
