I am trouble shooting an error 800 when connecting with the Microsoft VPN
client in XP Pro. I have verified that the problem is specific to one
computer. Another computer at this location works fine when connection to the
VPN. Any idea what I should look for on the problem computer?

can you ping the VPN server? Can you telnet the VPN server? this page may help, http://www.chicagotech.net/raserrors.htm

As I mentioned this issue is specific to the PC. The other PC at this
location can connect just fine. I can ping just fine. I'm looking for
solutions related to PC issues. I have verified that the firewall at the
remote location is configured fine by successfully connecting with another PC.
I have no difficulties connection from the other locations that connect to
the VPN server either. I'm looking for some trouble shooting tips for the PC.
Any ideas?
