I hope this is in the right Forum.
I have installed the hotfix and no improvement. What now?

The USB is recognised but I get code 37 and cannot read any devices, I have
tried 4 different USB memory sticks including IronKey which was in when I
tried to install Steady State which is installed but went wrong when I
selected Protect the hard disc.

Windows XP

Please help.

This is a Community newsgroup, not a forum.

What hotfix are you referring to?

Why in the world did you install SteadyState when you were already having
problems?

I had no problems before but was trying to protect the computer from a 5 yr
old.
I have now managed to uninstall Windows SteadyState which was a pain as it
wasn't in the add remove, and I had to do it manually.
My USBs all show
USB Mass Storage Device
disco USB Device
(! in yellow circle) Generic volume
I have uninstalled the device but always get the same driver reinstalled.
Any sugestions?
