error 775

I just windows professional on my laptop and set up the internet connection. When I try to go on line it keeps giving me error message 775: The call was blocked by a remote computer. Could any one tell me how to fix this so I can get on line?
 
we need more information to help. how do you connect to the internet? do you
have proxy server or firewall?
