error 720

installed sp2, now can't dial out...gives the same error as everyone else.

can't unistall tcp/ip for some reason other wise that might have fixed the
ppp error, tried new connections, tried everything possible (i think).

Hi,
The error 720 you are getting is an error when you have
upgraded your system from say win9x to xp & some of the
files are missing in that. there can be a back up
authentication in your server also when you are connecting
to net contact you isp for the same.

I would have hoped that was the reason, but my XP install is a clean
install, SP1'd and then SP2'd.
