Error 5: Access Denied ????????????

Hya, I was clining a pc from a hard infestation of BADware (no malware cause
this was terrible !!!), anyways after finishing, when I went to the restore
tab, I unmarked the save restore then apply, then when I marked again an
pressed apply I got an error saying that the system won't start cause there
was some problem, so anyways I restarted the computer and went back to System
properties to check back with System restore..... the tab is gone!!!!!!
So I tried to restart from the services section on computer managment and I
got this message "Could not start the Sytem restore service service on Local
Computer"
and below "Error 5: Access denied".......I'm supposed to be running as the
admin on this pc !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


What can I do ??????????

Malware means bad software !

The malware you had on your PC modified the local policies and other Registry settings.

See if the following Registry file (within the ZIP file) will correct your problem...

Sorry I didn't answer before, as a matter of fact I was trying to reinstall
the copy of SR using the Win cd but it happened that the version we have is
the first without Sp1 so I'm a little stuck rt now, any other options ?
