Error 40

I just installed a Home Remodeling software. I get a window pop-up saying
'Error 40 occured while trying to save the project file'. The program will
not function properly. After trying to figure out what's going on, I think
this is the problem; service key information in the registry is missing or
recorded incorrectly. (Code 40)
I don't know much about computers. Can anyone help get this program
working!?!?

program.

Sounds strange, but there is no technical support for the software. No
'contact us' or email.....

Sorry, no. The error is coming from the software, not Windows. Use
Google to search for the name of the program and tech support like:

"name-of-program tech support"
