Error 3197

I have split an Access database on the network into a
front end and back end. Most users (about 7) can access
the database just fine. But, there is one user who keeps
getting the following message when he tries to open the
databse:

"The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process
becuase you and another user are attempting to change the
same data at the same time."

Can anyone help me fix this problem?

Have you tried replacing his FE with a new copy? Can he open the BE
directly? Is he at the same Access SR and Jet SP as the other users?
