I got error 1919 yesterday and the solutions from Microsoft for OEM edition
of Windows XP says to modify the registration keys. I can follow the
directions, but I have a question about the current contents of
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup.
The instructions say to "right-click the Installation Sources entry, and
then click Modify. Then in the Value data box, change the value to the path
of the I386 folder on your hard drive."
When I get to the window for Installation Sources, there are two paths
already there, plus a blank path starting with "C:".
Do I get rid of those? (They are for two other programs running on my
system.) Or do I just add the \I386 to the existing "C:"?
