error 1704 help

can any one help me with this i get a "error 1704. An Installation for
Unversal SCSI Controller is currently suspended. You must undo the changes
made by that installation to continue. do you want to undo those changes?" is
the msg i get and when i click yes my computer crashes to the blue screen of
death. so right now i can't install any software please help if you can

If my memory serves me well, I believe that is a Windows Installer
error. This sometimes occurs when Windows asks you to restart the PC and
you don't. Then you install something else.
