I Just upgraded XP from ME, my anti virus SW (Norton)
wouldn't start Got Error 1606, didn't know what it was so
I manual deleted Norton. When I went to reinstall Norton
I got Error 1606 again. This time I went to MS knowledge
Base. Found article on Error 1606. I followed the article
as how to get in to the registry, but when I got to the
final folder, there was no Common Administration
Tools>all users. How do I correct my problem. I've never
had to adjust the registry other than removing the odd
thing found by Spybot.

Your version of Norton probably doesn't work on XP. You need to buy a
new version of NAV. Also, that KB article was probably for a Microsoft
product, not NAV, explaining why one of the keys wasn't there.
