error 1265

hi,
I have one dc and one additional dc on the different
location and got connected through wan we see an error in
event viewer the error no is 1265. Can any one plz help us
in solving the problem.

This is probably a DNS issue. Can you resolve server srv records using
nslookup ? Are you using NAT on your ruters ? any trafic filtering ?

i am not using NAT and i am able to resolve server srv
record using nslookup. But the error still occurs.
Plz help me out.

Verify that you have reverse lookup zone in your dns server. Open AD sites
and services and at Server/NTDS settings see if you have connection object
automaticaly created.
