Error 101 on start up

When I attempt to start I get an Error 101 saying that it
cannot be started then it terminates. I have Windows 2000
Professional.
 
First try updating the tool by going Add/Remove Programs and selecting
Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Click Change and click next on the wizard that comes up. On the next screen
select Update and click next. Select Install and allow it to update then
click Finish

If that does not work try running Start - Run - "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
AntiSpyware\gcasDtServ.exe" -Embedding

Reboot and test.
