Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled. The latest version of Trend's
anti-virus seems to be causing problems too.
 
Is this a problem that will fix itself? This seems weird since last week I
started getting sending errors when I use the default account in outlook. As
long as I use the others I am good, but not the default (whichever it may
be). 0x8004210B was the error. I have tried everything for them!

ANy help is appreciated!
