I am receiving the following error message are many, it seems. I have never
had a problem before and now suddenly I can receive but not send email
through Outlook. My ISP is Comcast... I have a Symantec firewall enabled,
but even when I disable it the problem persists. Here is the error message I
get:
Task 'xxxxx.xxxxxx.xxx - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x80042109)
: 'Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you
continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'
I have read through all the previous posts regarding this error and
unfortunately haven't been able to find a solution to this. Has anyone
figured this out?? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks...
