I am trying to convert a very large (2000+ pages) report
from Access 2002 to PDF.
I do a file print to the Acrobat Writer and after it
prompts me to name the file a box pops up and displays the
progress:
"printing page X of report to AcrobatWriter".
The problem occurs about 1500 pages into the report when I
get the error:
"There isn't enough free memory to update the display.
Close unneeded programs and try again."
I've tried printing with nothing else running and I get
the same error.
Can anybody help?
Many many thanks in advance.

Some things to try:

- Print it in parts (1-500, 501-1000 and so on) and assemble the parts
in Acrobat.

- Make sure you can scroll past the trouble-spot while previewing the
report.

- Instead of using the Acrobat Writer (not sure what that is) print to
the Adobe Distiller printer driver. If that fails, install any standard
PostScript printer driver; set this to print to file and print the
report to a .ps (PostScript) file; finally use Distiller (the
application, not the printer driver) to convert the .ps to a .pdf.
