erorr1722, internet loggin in

keep getting erorr 1722 while trying to install NIS2004 , have deleted all temp files but still no luck pls help, also cannot login to any websites that require for my passwords like hotmail, online banking

pls pls help me! thank you

Error 1722: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package . . . "

Secure site problem check this out

In Internet Explorer -
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
2. Scroll down to the Security Settings.
3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say
"Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
Try your secure sites.

Another thing you can try is:
Go to start/run
Type in: regsvr32 softpub.dll
