Erase shadow copy

Is it possible to erase shadow copies of specific files.
If there is then how to do it?
 
If you use Disk Cleanup to delete restore points after a restore, Disk
Cleanup will also delete shadow copies. Otherwise there is no real point in
having the restore point at all. You either want to completely restore a
configuration, or you don't. Backup would be a better choice for you if you
want selective deletion.
