Any recommendations? Would like to track freezers, airconditioners, and
miscellaneous items in food service business.

Sounds like something a bit too specialized to find in freeware.

Also sounds like a good reason for you to learn some simple database
programming. I've done programs like that in Access - no coding
really, mostly just drag & drop. Of course a nice VB user interface
would make it prettier.
 
try openoffice or another free spreadsheet-database program
there are several good ones available.
takes very little time and you can make a very good spreadsheet that will
compare with any commercial program

Mel: Have downloaded PM Master and am checking it out. Have also downloaded
CW Works ( http://www.cworks.com.my/ ), which also looks good.
