Equation

I'll like to find out why is it that I'm unable to view the equations i had typed out using equation 3.0 after I had come out of the editor. When I'm inside the editor, I'm able to view all as what I had typed but the moment I'm out of the editor, all I get is rubbish characters which is not what I had expected.

Here are a few things to try.

1. Do Alt-F9. Does that solve the problem?

2. Tools > Options > View. Un-tick Picture Placeholders.

3. Tools > Options > View. Tick Drawings.

Thank you! It helped me as well! Removing the Picture placeholder check mark worked for me.
