I am trying to use the equation editor, it is not listed under
"insert","object" and I followed the help instructions to add
it and I closed word and reopened. It still isn't there!!!
I don't know what it says in "the help instructions to add it",
but Equation Editor isn't installed by default. It takes a Custom
Install to install it. Put your Office CD in your drive and run
Setup again, choosing the options to "Add/Remove Features" (the
exact words may be slightly different). Equation Editor is under
Office Tools. Select the option to "Run from Hard Drive". Click
OK or Next until Setup resumes, and EE should be installed. This
won't affect any other Office features you have installed and it
won't affect any of your documents.
