EpsonStylus C82 won't print

After installing XP my Epson Stylus C82 will not print. Epson support reconfigued my port, to use a standard port ? It printed while they were on the line and then when I tried to print later from another application it would not print. Now I am back to the same problem. It does not print.

Uninstall and reinstall the printer..... if you kept it connected during the
installation of XP, you have corrupted the printer drivers.
