Epson Stylus Color Printer 880 - Compatibility Windows XP?

I cannot get Windows XP to recognize our Epson Stylus
Color 880 Printer.

Is this a compatible printer with Windows XP?

I downloaded and updated all the necessary drivers from
the Epson site, and the printer still won't connect.

Please advise.

It is compatible.

If this was an upgrade to XP from an earlier operating system and you kept
the printer connected during the upgrade, the chances are high the drivers
became corrupted.

You might want to uninstall and reinstall the printer as per:
