Epson GT 7000 USB driver?

I have an Epson GT 7000 USB scanner which I have been using with Win
2000. I have recently upgraded my system to XP, but can't find a
driver on the Epson website. Can anyone help?

If the 2000 driver doesn't work and epson doesn't supply an XP one then I
doubt if anyone can help.

Hi, Dan.

Since it's a Canon scanner, ask Canon how to make it work with WinXP. The
rule is: Microsoft sells and supports Windows; hardware manufacturers write
and support the drivers to make their products work with Windows.

Win98 drivers almost certainly will NOT work with WinXP.

And, PLEASE turn off your CAPS LOCK! You are SHOUTING AT US and WE DON'T
LIKE IT!!

My Canon FB630U has worked just fine with both XP Home and XP Pro. Are you
absolutely sure you have the correct driver downloaded from the Canon site?
That's the one I have and it has been performing perfectly. Have you checked
your USB ports with some other device and/or switched the scanner to another
port to see that it/they are working correctly?
What does the Device Manager show for both the scanner and the USB. My driver
is shown as CanoScan FB630/FB636 v.5.3.2.0 dated 3/27/2000

You have to follow the installation instructions from the Canon web site
EXACTLY, you are missing something in the setup. If you can't get it to
install from the Canon instructions, then I doubt you will get any better
help here.
I have the same scanner and I can't add anything that the install
instructions doesn't say.

btw, All CAPS is the same as screaming or shouting in newsgroups and email.

Just in case you can't find the Canon link.
Remove the currently installed twain driver with the deldrv_v1221.exe and
then install following the sg-csu532.exe. Follow the included instruction
for both file and also the toolbox.
