Entry Point Not Found unremp2.exe

I am having a problem with MS XP...I am unable to fully
boot up the system and when using the operating cd that
came with the computer system it stops at this error:

unremp2.exe Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point GETIUMS could not be located in
the dynamic link library msdart.dll

Not sure if this has anything to do with a recent upgrade
to AOL 9.0.

Any help would be appreciated.

shift+f10 when you get the error ,taskmgr.exe and end

task on unregmp2.exe till it goes away could take thirty
or more closing of that process.

when done install windows media player 9 and mdac 2.8
update.
