I know this isn't the correct forum, but I've reformatted, lost the MS alt.
security newsgroup, can't find it again, so must ask here. What is DSO
Exploit - 5 Entries? I have removed this several times with SpyBot, but it
keeps coming back. If someone will give me the correct alt. newsgroup, I
will ask there. I don't want to offend anyone by using the wrong group.
Thanks.

DSO-Exploit is a security gap in Internet Explorer, Outlook
and Outlook Express. Microsoft did already close this gap
with security updates, so with current Windows updates and
patches installed, it will no longer be a threat to your system.

Spybot-S&D will still detect the DSO-Exploit, but instead of
fixing it for good, it will unfortunately again set an invalid value.
Therefore it will again be found with every scan.
This little bug in Spybot-S&D has already been repaired and the
respective fix will soon be available as a program update.

Why does DSO Exploit return?

Thanks Carey. I have found a download at MajorGeeks, 1.3.1 for SB. I don't
see it any more when running. Like the old saying out of sight out of mind.
I hope that fixed it.
