entering text in excel

When I enter the stock symbol "acn" into a cell it changes into"can" when I
pressthe enter key.
help
 
Tools|autocorrect
find acn and delete it.

(this is a shared utility--so you're affecting word, powerpoint, as well.)
 
If you don't want to fiddle with autocorrect (it would be ok with me!), you can
hit ctrl-z (or edit|undo) to revert.

It's a standard AutoCorrect entry. Either remove it via Tools menu, or undo
it straightaway with CTRL+Z.
