Entering LF/CR special characters in a Memo field

Using formulas to enter NULL cell values

I am trying to create a very simple database of service requests and have a
memo field (named History) which is intended to capture the series of
activities in completing the service request. I want the users to be able to
append their comments to those already in the field .... putting their
comment on a new line within the field. To do that effectively, I need to
allow them to put in LineFeed and CarriageReturn characters.

How can I do this ?

Try typing Ctrl-Enter.

Fred, thank you! Silly me ... I expected if Alt-Enter would work in Excel
that it would be the same command for Access! Couldn't find the answer
anywhere in online help. Thanks for the quick response.
