Enter Network Password

This appears to be a common problem but I have yet to
find a fix. Each time my wife and I log into our
respective Outlook 2002 accounts, we're repeatedly asked
to "Enter Network Password". I've tried the registery
fix several times but it has never worked.

We're operating under a Win XP Pro environment and have
Norton Internet Security and Anti Virus programs running
in the background. Also, we log into only one XP Pro
account, i.e. we have not set-up separate XP Pro
accounts/profiles for each of use. Only separate
profiles for Outlook XP. Our broadband provider is
Comcast.

Any guidance on correcting this problem would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Same problem as so many others, and still no solution. So
here's a rant instead. Recurring ENP Syndrome reminds me
of a witless yet kamikaze-dedicated fly that always comes
back for more, however many times you swat at it. These
past few weeks, it's turned me into Bill Murray; I'm
living in a sort of permanent Groundhog Day.

So many people have obviously had this problem that I'm
amazed it's not listed explicitly as a fixable bug. But
should I be? Type "Enter Network Password" into the
Microsoft Knowledge Base search, and it doesn't come up
at all!! Because, in the Magic Kingdom of Microsoft
Searchland, our much loved phrase simply does not
exist!! But, fellow sufferers, do not give up all hope;
for together, we might crack it.

Factual stuff: I have Outlook 2002 Professional, running
on Windows XP Home. Using tips from this board, I firstly
tried Microsoft KBA Article 321652. Thanks for that,
Terry and others. Nice idea but, for me, it simply didn't
work. I next tried Microsoft KBA Article 264672. Big
thanks to Roady for that one. That was yesterday. Good
for the first hour, then that indefatigable RENPS fly
came buzzing back, and settled back on my server. Grrrrrr.

I'm no expert, but I'm certainly persistent. Whatever
happens, I shall strongly recommend Microsoft get their
pert little bottoms in gear and post the definitive,
helpful, properly indexed and cross-referenced solution
to Recurring ENP Syndrome in the KBA area.

All further experiences welcome. Meanwhile, ENP never
sleeps. Arrgghhh!!
