enter key not moving to next line

all of the sudden, my 'enter' key will not move my cursor to the next line?! therefore, i cannot move to the next line in a document unless i type continuosly. does anybody understand what i'm talking about?
 
I am experiencing the same problem and have just posted a
similar question to this board.

possible dirty enter key, or faulty keyboard
