In Excel is there a way to express exponents in
engineering notation:
x.xxE+06
x.xxE+03
x.xxE+00
x.xxE-03
x.xxE-06
x.xxE-09
x.xxE-12
etc.
Thanks

Hi Pete,

if i'm understanding you correctly, what you need to do is right mouse click
on the cells, choose format cells / numbers tab - click on scientific and i
think you'll get what you're looking for.

Hi JulieD
In engineering notation the exponent is always a multiple
of 3.
Any idea how to do that?
