End Point Moving Average Problem

For the life of me I can not get this formula to work like it i
supposed to. It is supposed to follow the data very closely. I'm no
sure if this is supposed to be combined with the slope of the linea
regression line or what. this may also be called Linear Regressio
Indicator or Time Series Forecast Indicator. Data is in the Dat
worksheet and only the close price is used. Any help would be greatl
appreciated.

This appears to be written in the Meta-Stock Formula Language. Here is a

It has nothing to do with Excel.

Yes I am aware that it is in MetaStock language but I don't have MS an
I wanted to put it in Excel to do some back testing of data. I wil
check out the link and maybe it will help. Thanks for the reply.

I found the Primer and what I needed in it. Now I know how to write i
in Excel.
