Encryption settings? PLEASE HELP!

Where do I find my encryption settings? On Win XP..and
Win 98..trying to network these two..am told encryption
settings must match..PLEASE HELP! Thanks..Jeff
 
Unless you are doing wireless networking I think you are barking up the
wrong tree.

Perhaps you were told that your username/password must match.
 
Hi,

The encryption on xp is in network connections, right
click on the wireless connection then view wireless
connections and advanced. Win 98 you'll need the
software that came with the card.

I AM doing wireless network...router is MS 500..network
adapter card is Belkin...Belkin installation instructions
specify that encrytion settings must match..
