Encryption on USB key -- no virtual drives, please

I have a 64MB USB key which I use to cart files to and from work and
school. I'd like to encrypt this data in case I lose the key.
Obviously, I'd like to encrypt everything on the key, which poses a few
problems.

First, some of the freeware that I've seen that does this (and does a
great job, I'm sure) creates a large encrypted file, which is then
mounted like a virtual drive. Unfortunately, these programs also
require administrative access to run them, which I do not have, which
renders programs such as these as useless.

Second, the other kinds of freeware only work on a single-file basis.
This means for every file I use, I have an individually encrypted file
with its own password. Obviously, this is too much of a hassle to deal
with, especially since I have programs that I like to run directly off
of this drive, that I'd also like to encrypt.

Keeping in mind that I want everything on the drive encrypted, and that
I have no administrator priviliges on the machines I use, do I have any
viable solutions?

TrueCrypt http://www.truecrypt.org/ should be able to do what you want if
you have a floppy drive on the machine and WinXP SP2. Just start TrueCrypt
from the floppy and mount the USB drive.

Baasically with W2k and above you will not need floppy if you set up
traveller mode, and have auto start enabled.
