Hello,
fot the first, sorry for my bad english.
i have folowing problem:
in windows XP i had a encryptet folder. I decidet to encode this folder, so
I disabled encryption. Windows said " 7 hours ...". I put abord.
No all files ar encryptet, but the attribute is "not encryptet". All files
are "demaged", i have only "(^Á§ö"Õ.îÃdÜhË"¦Ð" in the files.
No my question: how can I change the attrib of the files, so that windows
exepts them as encryptet ?

Thank you

This can happen if the file was encrypted using a more recent version of the
operating system than was used to decrypt the files. For example, encrypted
using XP SP1, but decrypted/accessed using XP (no service pack). It's easy
to get into this state when System Restore rolls back to XP without service
packs installed.

If the above scenario applies to you, apply service pack 1 - you'll be able
to decrypt your files again.

Hello,

thank you for your answer.
I tried to decrypt the files without SP1, but windows without SP1 is
also unable to do this, because the files are attribute "not encrypt"
