Encrypted files

I have just reloaded XP Pro from scratch (including format
c due to NIS crashing my system.

I can no longer access the files I had encrypted: "the
file name xxxx.xxx is either invalid or too long"

Help would be appreciated

Unless you backed up the necessary keys, the data is most likely
forever gone:

If you dont have a backup of the certificate (or recovery certificate)
used to encrypt the files you're pretty much out of luck...
