From some thief from Lithuania.

It is not unusual for thieves to give away what they steal.
This seems to make them feel better and justify their actions.
But a thief is still a thief.

You expect someone from Lithuania to pay for software? They have to
send their women to
Israel as sex slaves to make money. This is free software. FREE!!!!

You are trying to dehumanize people by labelling them. Your idea that
thieves give things away for free is a bit naive. Greedy capitalists
like Bill Gates, otoh, are racked with guilt and send their money to a
blackhole in africa. Thanks, Bill! Sending our money to africa will
really help the economy.

I need to know what kind of dvd burner to buy. This is so complicated.
No wonder lazy people buy their software at the store.

Aren't you just going to steal one? Seems to be your way.

You are going about this all wrong. First: never tell any computer
support forum that you need a dvd burner to pirate software. You won't
get help.

What you say is something like:

"I would like to buy a dvd burner, does anyone have suggestions for an
inexpensive, yet reliable unit?"

Isn't that better?

A person who is truly dishonest by nature may have difficulty with the
simple truth since they are usually attempting to cover their lies.
This may be an explanation when he is incapable of asking the question as
you suggest.

Not dehumanizing people at all.
Calling a thief a thief is not labeling, it is calling it what it is.
And yes, some thieves do give things away.
Thieves often have their own network for sharing.
You must be very naive to not be aware of even the possibility of this.

As for Africa, now your true selfishness shows brightly.
It has little to do with the the economy (U.S.A.), but it can go a long way
to help others.
Perhaps you would feel better about it if the money went straight to you
ignoring those with less than you.
You should really keep this irrelevant garbage out of this newsgroup.
The way you use it only shows you in your true character.

Getting a DVD burner is simple, buy it like everything else.
As for "buy their software at the store", there are other legitimate
sources, but you seem to be unaware of such.
For you to think those that purchase in stores are lazy is just ridiculous.
Go to a local mall and express that point of view.
But for a change go during the daytime when people are there and loudly
proclaim your belief they are lazy because they shop at a store.

A DVD burner is about the simplest piece of computer hardware to buy and yet
you struggle for days when even the most inexperienced would have bought and
installed it long ago.

See if you can find one that uses butane as a fuel. The electric ones
require a lot of power to reach the combustion point of DVDs, and also
aren't portable. But why burn them when you can accomplish the same
thing with a moderately priced paper shredder.

I expect people the world over to pay for software.

thief: one that steals especially stealthily or secretly; also : one who
commits theft or larceny.

It is pirated software. STOLEN!!!!

to reproduce without authorization especially in infringement of copyright.

It is no coincidence that said:
pioneer dvr-111 is popular. dvd burners are about $35 in my area. good
luck.

Sugar must be in short supply in your area though, if you can afford a new
DVD burner, but not a packet of sugar for your tea.
