I am unable to provide access for a rest. user to the program "Sonic Stage".
He does need access to it as he is a music director. It does not appear on
the "program access" panel in the control panel. Can anyone else provide
some insight? Xp Sp1 on a dell /amd2800+(or some such nonsense). Thanks for
the help.

I'm not sure what a "rest. user" means. If you are saying that the icon
for the program doesn't appear on your user's All Programs list, then
right-click on the Start Button and choose Explore All Users. You will
get the familiar two-paned Explorer window and will see all the
accounts' Start Menus. You can copy the icon for Sonic Stage to your
user's Programs list. Those icons are just shortcuts.

If you are saying that your user is a Limited user (Home Edition) or a
regular non-privileged user (Pro Edition) and Sonic Stage doesn't work
properly for him, you'll need to contact the program mftr.'s tech
support to see what permissions need to be changed for their software.

Yes, he is a non-priveleged user on my network. I am unable to allow access
to him in the "Set Program Access & Defaults" for Sonic Stage. I was hoping
there was someway other than editing registry(possible) etc. to enable it for
him. Anyone else have ideas? Thanks for the help.

You'll need to check with Sonic Stage to see what permissions need to be
changed on what folders. They are the ones who will know.
