I cannot see certain pictures on a particular website on IE or Opera, and the
webmaster says I must have "background images" disabled. I can see the
pictures on Firefox. Where is the setting for "background images"? Thanks a
lot!

What images on what website?
The options in IE6 can vary slightly with operating system but it
should be Tools-Internet Options-Advanced-Show pictures (in the
Multimedia section)

Have you cleared your cache?
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

If the above fails, then try here:

Hi Biff, (of Back to the Future fame?)

Internet Options - General Tab - Accessibility button - Uncheck "Ignore
colors specified on webpages"

Regards.

Hi Rob ^_^,

Eureka! (Or however you say "You found it!" in Greek.)

Moreover, for Opera: Tools > Preferences > Advanced tab > Style Options
button > Presentation modes tab, check box "Page fonts and colors."

And for Firefox: Tools > Options > Content tab > Colors button, check box
"Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above."

Thank you very much, and my thanks to Alan Edwards, as well.
