Enable Java?

I wanted to take a virtual tour of a house I am considering and when I clicked on for the tour I got a message that said that my browser had to have Java enabled. I am running WindowsXP Home. How do I enable Java? Thanks for your help.

Understand that because of a court decision Microsoft will stop all Java
