hi
after last fresh install of Office I always have to manually select my name
from the Contact list to use in the From field or else it's empty and the
mail server wont send my email. I cannot find anywhere how to tell Outlook
who's the default sender = me !?!

thx,
David

that is already done, still nothing!

Describe more completely the problem you are having.
If your account information is correct, there would never be any need to set
the From field in an individual message.

well I have 3 accounts for 3 different emails
but the same name and reply-to email in every account
every time I compose a new message the From field is empty and the mail wont
be sent until I manually insert my name into it. I've made an entry of my
self in Contacts folder which Outlook uses when I start to type my name...

Running Office 2000, Internet email only (no exchange server)

The From field is populated by the name and email address you have set for
each account. It is not necessary to populate the From field manually unless
your e-mail account is corrupt.
